Maps (and Darling GPX file)

You have most likely been directed to this page because you would like access to my maps of the Darling, Murrumbidgee, Edward or Barwon Rivers. These maps are fragments of the NSW Topo Maps onto which I have marked river distances, weirs, Telstra mobile reception and other useful information that I collected before I paddled these rivers. Quite a bit of work went into collecting this information (e.g. the Darling River set comprises about 60 maps) and I am happy to share this with others in order to help promote and facilitate people paddling and enjoying the inland rivers. A sample map page is shown below.

However, in return we would greatly appreciate it if you show your support by ordering a copy of our book Murray-Darling Journeys. This book is about the history of rowing and paddling journeys down the rivers of the Murray-Darling Basin. The aim of the book is to share the stories of amazing journeys that have been undertaken in the past. Being self-published (with assistance from Vivid Publishing to ensure a quality layout) we are trying to recover the direct costs of printing etc so your order would be greatly appreciated. If you already have purchased a copy of the book from us please let me know and I can look up our records or you can send us a photo of you with your copy of the book if you purchased it elsewhere. Please let me know by email to mcbremers@gmail.com if you would like access to the maps.

Further information about the book is available here and you can place your order here.

Alternatively, if you do not want to order the book (and be sent a link to the maps) you can print off the map fragments and transfer the information from various blogs onto the maps yourself as I have described previously e.g. in the “Maps” section of https://www.murraydarlingjourneys.id.au/home/darling-river-canoe-trip/preparation.
